Overview
The Vision-Aid Resource Training Centres – Visakhapatnam are dedicated to empowering persons with visual impairments through accessible education, skill development, assistive technology, career guidance, and sustainable employment opportunities.
Established under the leadership of the Vision-Aid Charitable Services Society (VACSS), the centres have been serving the visually impaired community since 2004. Today, Vision-Aid operates through two strategically located training centres in Visakhapatnam:
- Main Training Centre: Dr. L. B. College Campus
- Extension Centre: Gayatri College Campus
Together, these centres provide employability training, rehabilitation services, and placement support to visually impaired youth from across Andhra Pradesh. The industry-oriented training programs prepare learners for successful careers and independent living.
